Job Description

Sibme is looking for ambitious Sales Development Representatives to join our growing sales team to help sell our web and mobile platform and professional services designed to improve teacher effectiveness in schools, district programs, and educator prep programs. 

This is an ENTRY level role and we are looking for candidates who have recently graduated and have 1-2 years experience in sales.  In this role, you will produce new sales qualified leads to fuel the sales pipeline by identifying, qualifying, and setting meetings with school administrators and instructional leaders in school districts and educator prep programs nationwide for our Account Executives.

Requirements

• A self-starter with a proven track record of success and tenacity
• Proven track record of achieving and exceeding quota
• You are a great communicator (excellent listening skills and strong writing skills)
• Friendly and comfortable on the phone
• Professional and clear at email
• Extremely organized and detail oriented
• Passionate about helping  schools and improving education
• Excited to work at a small company and make a big impact
• 1-2 years of professional sales experience
• Edtech sales experience a bonus

Responsibilities

• Prospect, educate, qualify, and develop accounts and assigned leads to create sales qualified leads and opportunities through meetings you have booked through a CRM
• Email and phone calls with school administrators and district leadership who are interested in Sibme
• Research potential accounts, identify key decison-makers, develop interest
• Successfully manage and overcome prospect objections
• Qualifying leads to help schools and districts find out what plan is right for them
• Help schools and districts turn into Sibme customers
• Keep good documentation on your leads and calls, and maintain an organized pipeline
• Work closely with other members of the Sibme sales team
• Call and email schools who have requested quotes or information about Sibme
